Because of which the aggrieved party can put forth its point fearlessly and so that it can get justice. With this hope, the problems of the people are heard in the collectorate office on Tuesday. In this sequence, the woman who reached the public hearing organized in Shivpuri district sprinkled petrol on herself in front of the Additional Collector. The woman was about to light the match, but then the officers and employees present there saved the woman.

Please inform that Sirnam Lodhi, a resident of Harsara village of Bamour Kalan, along with his wife Sugan Bai had come to the collectorate for public hearing on Tuesday morning. Here he submitted a complaint application against the people who encroached on his land. During this hearing, in place of the Collector, the Additional Collector was conducting the hearing. He didn’t listen to the couple seriously. Angered by this, Sagun Bai took out the petrol kept in her shawl and sprinkled it on herself. As soon as the couple took out the matchbox, the officers present there were stunned. Then caught hold of them and snatched the matchbox from them and listened to their problems. The weeping couple told that their own family members Komal Singh Lodhi and Ramswaroop Lodhi along with Patwari and Tehsildar have encroached on their land. Apart from this, both have occupied a house together.
When we lodged a complaint at the Bamorkala police station, the police instead started beating us. And husband Sirnam Lodhi was arrested on false charges. Further, the victim said that since 2012, we have been pleading for justice. For 10 years we could not get justice. And the relatives are threatening to kill them. Also told that he had no other way left but to embrace death.

The collector told that the police did not behave well with the victim. Along with this, their own relatives have encroached on their land. An inquiry has been ordered into the matter, after which action will be taken.
