Weather Update: The weather became pleasant on Holi in many states of North India including the country’s capital Delhi. Although it was scorching heat in the plains for the last few days, yesterday i.e. on the day of Holi, the rains in the evening managed to bring down the temperature and within a short time the weather started to feel cool. According to the India Meteorological Department, today i.e. on March 9, there may be light or moderate rains in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Meteorological agency Skymet Weather said that an area of cyclonic winds has formed around South-West Rajasthan.
There is a possibility of lightning in these states
Releasing the forecast for the next 24 hours, SkyWeather said that there is a possibility of rain with thunder in some areas of South-West UP and North Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, there may be rains with strong thunderstorms in West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand. Similar weather is also likely to prevail in Assam, Sikkim and North Chhattisgarh. Releasing the weather bulletin for the state, the Jaipur Weather Center said that strong winds may blow in some areas of Rajasthan. While there is every possibility of lightning and hailstorm.
