Weather Update: In Delhi-NCR and Western UP, the condition of the people is miserable these days due to the humid heat. On the other hand, it is raining heavily in Gujarat-Maharashtra and the mountains. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains for about one and a half dozen states of the country. But the national capital Delhi is currently less expected to get relief from the humid heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be up to 37 degree Celsius on Sunday. which is higher than normal.
At the same time, the India Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in different parts of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Konkan and South Interior Karnataka today. With this, a red alert has been issued for these states. The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert alert for Karnataka. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Punjab, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh for Sunday. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the coastal areas of Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is located over Southeast Vidarbha and adjoining South Chhattisgarh which extends up to mid-tropospheric level. Along with this, the monsoon trough is also active and is present towards the south from its normal position. It is passing through Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, Deesa in Gujarat, Ratlam, Betul, Chandrapur, Kondagaon, Gopalpur in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is also present over Southwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Southeast Rajasthan and Northeast Gujarat region at the lower tropospheric level.
Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation is present over west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal. Not only this, a new low pressure area is likely to form over northwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal near South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts on Monday. Due to which its effect will be seen on the weather in the coming days.

There is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in these states
According to the India Meteorological Department, apart from western Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, there is a possibility of lightning and light rain at different places in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. Apart from these, there is a possibility of lightning and rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
