Weather News: Severe cold has started in the entire North India including the country’s capital Delhi. Although there is some relief from the cold due to sunshine in the afternoon, but the cold is showing its color in the morning and evening. The situation is that in Delhi-NCR, people can be seen lighting bonfires to avoid the cold. A major reason for increasing winter in the plains is snowfall in hilly states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, due to which cold winds are blowing in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Bihar. The Meteorological Department says that there may be a further drop in the temperature of Delhi in the coming days.

In the weather report released by the India Meteorological Department, it was told that the minimum temperature in the capital Delhi on Saturday was 1 degree below the average at 8.4 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 26.4 degrees. The Meteorological Department has said that the weather will be clear on Sunday. Although there will definitely be fog in the morning. Today’s minimum temperature in Delhi can be recorded at 8 degrees and maximum temperature can be recorded at 26 degrees. It was told in the weather report that the weather will remain dry and sunny in North Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and West UP for the next four days. The Meteorological Department told that it may take some time for winter to reach its peak in Delhi.

Today i.e. on Sunday also the capital was seen wrapped in a white sheet of mist. Due to this increasing level of air pollution, people have to go through problems like burning sensation in the eyes, difficulty in breathing and tightness in the chest. Doctors have described this smog spread in the air of Delhi as very harmful for the health of the people.
