UGC NET December 2022-23 Schedule: There is big news for lakhs of candidates preparing for UGC NET exam. The schedule for the December 2022 session of the National Eligibility Test (NET) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been released. Sharing this information, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said that applications for the examination can be submitted from December 29. The last date for submission of applications is 17 January 2023, applications can be submitted till 5 pm.

Exam will be held from 21 February to 10 March

UGC NET December 2022 session exam dates have also been announced. According to the information, the exam will be conducted from 21 February to 10 March 2023. The National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of the examination. The UGC NET exam, conducted for 83 subjects, is conducted to determine eligibility for recruitment to Assistant Professor posts in universities and degree colleges and for research in institutes. The entire UGC NET exam is based on Computer Based Test (CBT).

Candidates who want to appear in the UGC NET exam can submit online applications by visiting the portal created by NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic. For the application process, candidates will have to first register and then login through the allotted application number and date of birth and submit the application. A fee of Rs 1100 has been kept for the application. For EWS and OBC candidates of unreserved category, the fee is Rs 550. At the same time, a fee of Rs 275 will be charged for third gender including SC, ST and Divyang candidates.
