Jabalpur Bhumi Pujan News: In Jabalpur, politics has become very hot due to 2 Bhoomipujans of the same development work, Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu, elected on Congress ticket, today performed Bhoomipujan for the construction of new building of Sanskrit College at a cost of Rs 67 lakhs. Along with the BJP corporators, the Leader of the Opposition in the Municipal Corporation, Kamlesh Agarwal, has now openly opposed it and accused the Congress of stealing credit.
Questions raised again on Bhoomi Pujan
The Leader of the Opposition said that already on May 26, 2017, BJP Mayor Swati Godbole had performed Bhumi Pujan of the Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya building and now the Congress Mayor is doing politics of looting credit. The Congress was also targeted by placing a banner at the Bhoomipujan site of the Sanskrit College located in Damohnaka, in which questions were again raised on the Bhoomipujan.
Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu argued that the old tender was canceled due to the negligence of the contractor and now with the help of the MLA fund received from the local Congress MLA Vinay Saxena, work is being done by issuing a new tender, the Mayor said that the city Pandit On the request of the Mahasabha, a new Bhumi Pujan of this development work was done afresh with recitation of Swasti, on which BJP should not object. In such a situation, now the politics of the city has heated up on the 2 Bhoomi Pujans done by the mayors of BJP and then Congress for the same development work.
