Guna Crime News: The forest department has arrested two people who were killing a blue cow and taking it to eat its meat in the Aaron forest range of Guna district. The remains of dead Nilgai have been seized in huge quantity from the possession of the accused. This action has been taken under the direction of Aaron Forest Range Officer Sudhir Sharma.

Let us inform that the Forest Department officials had received information about the killing of Nilgai on the Bhainsawla-Jhajhon road at around 12 o’clock on Wednesday-Thursday night. On the instructions of the Ranger, a large number of staff of the Forest Department left for the spot. The Forest Department team caught two people who were collecting the remains of Nilgai. On enquiry, it was found that both the accused are residents of Jhajhon. At least 7 of his companions had fled a while back.
The forest department team has recovered 15 to 16 kg of flesh including the head, tail and horns of the dead nilgai from the spot. The forest staff reached the spot twice to fully verify the incident and the entire incident was recreated from the accused. In which many shocking facts have come to light. The Forest Department estimates that more than 20 people may be involved in the incident, about whom information is being collected. At present, the accused have been arrested and a case has been registered under sections of the Wildlife Act and the Indian Forest Act. In this action, under the direction of Forest Range Officer Sudhir Sharma, Range Assistant Santosh Batham, Forest Guard Vishal Sharma, Raja Raghuvanshi, Hridesh Sahu, Narendra Kushwaha, Vitthal Meena, Ajay Patelia had a commendable contribution.
