IPS Transfer 2022: Administrative reshuffle has been seen in the state. Six senior Indian Police Service officers have been transferred. Along with this, he has been assigned a new posting. Releasing the list of new officers, they have been instructed to take charge with immediate effect. Along with this, some officers have been assigned additional charge.
He got a new posting
Senior IPS officer Ravi Gupta has been given the new posting. He has been appointed as the Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana. Along with this, the Principal Secretary of the Home Department was given additional charge of the Director General of the Vigilance and Enforcement Department along with a member of the Service holding the rank of General Administration Department.
Apart from this, Additional Director General of Police Law and Order Dr. Jitendra has also been transferred by the Telangana government. He has been given a new posting as the Principal Secretary of the State Home Department.
Anjani Kumar, a 1990 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new in-charge of the Director General of Police. He has been given the additional charge of DGP. He received his education from St. Xavier’s School in Patna Bihar and later from Delhi University. He took charge as the Director General of ACB on 24 December 2021.
Handing over the new posting to Additional Commissioner of Police Devendra Singh Chauhan, he has been appointed as the Commissioner of Police. In addition, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police, Rajkonda Commissionerate, has been posted as Additional Director General, CID.
