Gwalior Crime News: On November 22, 2022, three bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 35 lakh after firing bullets at Galla trader Ramsevak Bajaj in broad daylight on the busiest Thakur Baba Road in Dabra area of ​​Gwalior district. The robbers carried out the sensational incident of robbery when the Galla trader along with his associate was returning home after withdrawing Rs 35 lakh from HDFC Bank.

Taking the incident of robbery seriously, the senior police officers had activated a dozen teams for the arrest of the remaining absconding accused of the robbery incident and recovery of the looted amount. Last days, on November 30, 2022, the police was active after arresting 4 accused involved in the incident and recovering Rs 7 lakh out of the looted amount from their possession.

In this sequence today, on December 03, the Superintendent of Police Gwalior received information from the informer that the absconding accused of Dabra robbery have been seen in Thana Mau district Bhind area. After the information, the SP sent the crime branch teams to coordinate with the Bhind police to nab the absconding accused. Police arrested two absconding accused, during interrogation, the accused accepted the robbery incident in Dabra. Out of the looted amount, the police recovered Rs 14 lakh and a katta with rounds from the accused.

It is worth mentioning that two days back, the absconding main accused in the Dabra robbery incident was arrested by the police from village Khujuriai police station Dabra Dehat on the information of the informer. On detailed interrogation of the arrested accused by the police team, he along with his accomplices accepted the incident of robbery. Out of the looted money, the police seized Rs 0.5 lakh 50 thousand and a katta with rounds from the arrested accused.

The special thing is that the arrested accused, along with his accomplices, also accepted the robbery of a businessman in Thana Pichor, a finance company in Thana Chinor and an Artika car in Thana Ghatigaon area, in connection with which inquiries are being made. In total, out of 8 accused involved in the robbery of 35 lakhs with a businessman in Dabra, the police have arrested 7 accused and recovered 26 lakh rupees so far, the rest of the looted amount has been recovered and the remaining one absconding accused is being actively searched.
