Ujjain News: At the end of this year and the beginning of the new year, a large number of devotees reach Ujjain to visit Baba Mahakal. Due to the increase in the number of devotees, changes are also made in the darshan system from time to time. Lakhs of devotees are expected to reach the Mahakal temple on December 31 and January 1 as well. In view of this, a change is being made in the darshan system.

According to the information, lakhs of devotees will now be allowed to enter the temple through Mahakal Lok to have darshan of Lord Mahakal. This darshan system will remain in force on 30 December and 1 January. The Mahakal Temple Management Committee has prepared a plan to give darshan to the devotees in 40 minutes.

The process of darshan will start after the Bhasm Aarti of Baba Mahakal. It takes about an hour for devotees to have darshan on normal days. This time a line will be made in 3 layers so that darshan can be done quickly. December 31 is a Saturday and due to Sunday being the first day of the new year, a large number of people will reach the Mahakal temple. Anyway, after the inauguration of Mahakal Lok, there has been an increase in the number of devotees in the temple.

Bhasma Aarti Booking Changes

The permission for Bhasma Aarti given online by the Mahakal Temple Management Committee has been blocked for December 31 and January 1 like every year. Devotees will be able to get offline permission. The entry into the sanctum sanctorum of the Mahakal temple has already been closed, which will remain closed till January 5. Only Panda priests will be able to enter the sanctum sanctorum and visitors will have to visit from outside.

This will be the philosophy system

Devotees coming to visit Mahakal will now enter from Mahakal Lok instead of Harsiddhi. 3 layer barricading is being done from Nandi Gate to Facility Center 2 and Mansarovar. From here the devotees will reach Ganesh Mandapam and while having darshan, they will come out from the Chardham temple road. On December 31 and January 1, entry will be given from the Nandi Gate of Mahakal Lok only. A shoe stand will be made near the Triveni Museum for the visitors.
