Ratlam News: In Ratlam’s Javra, a case of a hawker being assaulted by a couple has come to light. According to the information, this person had given some money to buy the plot but later it came to know that the plot was already sold. When he asked for his money back, the woman, her husband and child beat him up and used casteist words. After the matter came to light, the police have registered a case against the entire family under several sections under the SC ST Act.
This case is related to a person named Jitendra living in Khatik Mohalla of Jawra. Jitendra works as a hawker to sell sarees. Giving information, he said that Dhirendra, who lives in Shikshak Nagar, had fixed the deal by showing him a plot and also took the money after making an agreement. A few days later, I came to know that the plot was already sold. When I asked for the money back, they gave me a check but it was not cashed. When I went back to ask for money, Dhirendra, his wife and child abused me using caste-indicative words and also threatened to kill me.
Based on the report of the victim, the police have registered a case against the family under sections 323, 294, 506, 34 and SC ST Act. The victim also told that he had given money for the plot on interest, but I was not informed about its already BK. The registration was delayed for a long time. On demanding money, he was beaten up and threatened to kill. In the case, the police say that a dispute has come to the fore regarding the transaction of money and according to the information of the complainant, three people are being investigated by registering a case.
