
Ujjain News: The International Water Conference is being organized in the city of Baba Mahakal from 27 to 29 December. During this, the country’s first Jal Stambh of 13 feet height was also unveiled here today. The water pillar was unveiled by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat reached Mahakaleshwar temple where he offered prayers to Baba Mahakal. After this, the 13 feet high water pillar made of 60 kg silver, installed in the courtyard of the temple, was unveiled with the workmanship of the riches of the four Vedas. The program started with Vedic chanting.
During this programme, Mohan Bhagwat was also felicitated with a felicitation letter from the Mahakal Temple Management Committee. Sujalam Jal Mahotsav is being celebrated continuously in the temple from 5th December and Chaturveda Parayan is also taking place. Different programs are being organized everyday in which the water pillar was unveiled today.

The water column installed in the courtyard of Mahakal has been prepared with 60 kg silver coating. This 13 feet water column is made of stones on which the richas of the four Vedas have been engraved on the silver coating done on it. Colorful lights have also been installed around it. This is the first water pillar in the country which has been established to explain the importance of water conservation.
