Jabalpur Accused Arrested : Vikram Kevat, the accused who stabbed a girl student studying in Jabalpur 10th class, was about to escape from Madan Mahal station after the incident, Ghamapur police station arrested him before that. The accused carried out the incident when the girl student was returning home from coaching, while the accused Vikram Kevat came along with one of his minor accomplices and molested her. When the student protested, she was stabbed four times one after the other. In the incident, the girl student got hurt on her hand, chest, neck and back, whose treatment has been admitted to a private hospital.

The incident took place in Jabalpur on 7th December. Its video surfaced on Friday. A miscreant living in the student’s locality had blocked her way. He started molesting her. When the student protested, he attacked her with a knife. The incident got recorded in the CCTV installed there. Police have arrested the accused.

Father’s statement:

I am a resident of Dwarka Nagar area. I do vegetable business. My 16 year old daughter studies in class 10. Like everyday, she was returning home from coaching on 7th December i.e. Wednesday. She was coming via Baru Mohalla. Whereas Vikram Kevat, a resident of our locality, came from Activa. He started molesting the daughter by blocking her way. The daughter also protested. Still he did not agree. The daughter tried to run away, but the accused gave chase and stabbed her. The accused made 4 attacks with a sharp knife. The daughter’s hand, chest, throat and back have been attacked. After this he ran away. Showing bravery, the daughter raised an alarm in a bloody condition. The people of the locality came to save him. He got her admitted to the hospital. When we got the information, we immediately came. At present he is admitted in ICU. Although the condition is out of danger.
