Khandwa News: A surprising case has come to light from Pandhana area of Khandwa. Here a 10-year-old boy was beaten up by blocking his way and Jai Shri Ram slogans were raised. The child was thrashed for a long time for calling Jai Shri Ram. After reaching home, when he informed his family about this, a complaint was lodged with the police.
This case pertains to Pandhana of Khandwa where a 10-year-old child living there studies in fifth class. He was on his way home for tuition when a 22-year-old youth named Ajay stopped him and asked him to chant Jai Shri Ram. The accused started slapping the child when he asked why he had to be put on the edge and kept on hitting him till the child raised slogans.
After reaching home, the child informed the family members about the incident, after which the family members reached Pandhana police station and got a case registered against the accused. The family told that the child is preparing for Navodaya Vidyalaya and for that he was going for tuition. Meanwhile, Ajay alias Raju stopped him near Durga Colony and started saying Jai Shri Ram, otherwise I will not let him go further. When the child refused, he started fighting and left the child after raising slogans.
Regarding this matter, Pandhana police station has said that we have received a complaint that a child going to tuition was stopped on the way and beaten up and shouted slogans of Jai Shri Ram. A case has been registered under sections 295 A and 323 and action will be taken against the youth.
