The match saw an amazing partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Ashwin, both of whom are being called its heroes. Team India has won this series 2-0. Sunday was the fourth day of the Test series. During this, Team India was just a few runs away from its victory and 7 wickets had also fallen. It was only when India’s score was 74/7 that Ashwin and Shreyas’s partnership turned the tide of the game.
Bangladesh had given India a target of 145 runs. In the beginning it looked as if India would lose India. India also gave up the wicket of Jaydev Unadkat in the opening overs, while he scored 13 runs. Ashwin and Iyer together scored 71 runs. Out of which Shreyas Iyer scored 29 and Ashwin scored 42.
