Shiva Singh Vijay Hazare Trophy: Ruturaj Gaikwad, the batsman who captained Maharashtra in the quarter-finals of Vijay Hazare, created history on Monday. He made the world record by hitting 7 sixes in one over. Gaikwad has become the first batsman in the world to do so in white ball cricket. During this, he also scored his double century. Gaikwad has played an unbeaten inning of 220 runs in 159 balls. Which includes 10 fours and 16 sixes. Gaikwad completed his century in 109 balls. He has done this feat on the balls of spinner Shiva Singh of Uttar Pradesh. A shameful record has been registered in the name of Shiva Singh. He has become the first batsman in the world to give 43 runs in an over.
UP spinner Shiva came to bowl the 49th over of Maharashtra’s innings. Gaikwad hit 7 sixes in this over of Shiva. Out of which one six came on no ball. Gaikwad scored a total of 43 runs in 1 over. In this way, the record of giving the most runs in an over in white ball cricket was recorded in the name of Shiva Singh.

Shiva Singh, 23, plays domestic cricket for UP. He made his debut for UP in 2018-19. Shiva has also played Under-19 for India. Shiva Singh was a part of the Under-19 World Cup winning team in the year 2018. Shiva Singh had a great performance in that Under-19 World Cup. He took 4 wickets in 6 matches with an economy of 3.25.
