Dewas Corruption News : Senior BJP leader and former minister Deepak Joshi is seen opening a front against his own party these days. BJP leaders may be talking about zero tolerance on corruption, but Deepak Joshi has made a big allegation of corruption in other schemes including PM Awas Yojana on a large scale in Bagli assembly of Dewas district.
Former minister made allegations
Deepak Joshi alleges that a scam of Rs 1,700 crore has taken place in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in three Nagar Panchayats of Bagli Vidhansabha of Dewas district. If the administration does not take action against the accused of this scam, then they will hit the road and if needed will also go to the court. Joshi has been raising this issue on social media for the past several months. Taking his hand, he had called the butt of the corrupt. Joshi has now written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his anguish due to non-hearing despite raising the issue continuously.
Joshi said that Bagli area has been the workplace of late Kailash Joshi, his father and former chief minister of the state for decades. He said that a scam worth crores has been done in the scheme to provide housing to the poor. He has accused the responsible officer and some people of grabbing the money of the poor by paying a tax of 60 knots. Joshi appealed to the Prime Minister to get the scam probed by a central agency.
