School Winter Vacation 2023 : There is good news for school students. In different states, they have started declaring winter holidays according to the weather. The Rajasthan government has announced closure of schools for 12 days in winter. Under this, school holidays will continue till January 5, 2023 and schools will remain closed. The special thing is that this time the Rajasthan Board has reduced the number of summer holidays by increasing the number of winter holidays.
On the instructions of UP’s Aligarh DM Indra Vikram Singh, in view of the cold wave and fog, orders have been issued to keep the schools from class nursery to class eight of all the boards of the district closed on 27 and 28 December. Under this, Basic Education Council, Primary, Upper Primary, Composite School, Non-Government, Aided, Recognized, CBSE, ICSC, all other board schools from class nursery to class eight will remain closed for two days.

Apart from this, schools will remain closed in Meerut from 27 December to 1 January 2023. DM has instructed that 10th, 12th pre board and practical exams will continue, the same classes above 8th (class 9th to 12th) will run from 10 am to 3 pm. The same DA has given instructions to keep schools closed till December 28 in Badaun and Bijnor. These instructions will be applicable to all Hindi and English medium schools including all government schools, private schools, CBSE, ICSE board schools, UP board schools in the state.
Winter vacation in colleges too
In the same Baghpat, an order has been issued for the holiday from 27th December to 14th January. Apart from schools, UP’s Ruhelkhand University has also announced winter vacation in its campus and affiliated colleges. Ruhelkhand University and its affiliated colleges will have winter vacation from December 30, 2022 to January 7, 2023.
