Rohit Sharma IND vs BAN: Rohit Sharma blamed him for losing the series, know what he said. ind vs ban rohit sharma on india loss against bangladesh in 2nd odi india vs bangladesh odi series

New Delhi:

Rohit Sharma India vs Bangladesh ODI: Bangladesh captured the series by defeating Team India by 5 runs in the second ODI on Wednesday. With this, this is Team India’s second consecutive series defeat on Bangladesh tour. Earlier in the year 2015, under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Team India had lost the series. After getting injured in this match, Rohit Sharma played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs off 28 balls, but he could not win India.

In the second match played between India and Bangladesh, three players of Team India were injured. It seemed that Rohit Sharma would not be able to bat in this match. But Rohit came to bat at number 9 with a bandage on his finger. He fought for Team India till the last ball. But could not win the team.

Like the first match against Bangladesh, Team India’s bowling and batting were weak in the second match as well. While bowling first, the bowlers of Team India looted a lot of runs in the last. At one time the score of Bangladesh team was 69/6 wickets. But then Mehdi Hasan and Mahmudullah played a brilliant inning for Bangladesh in the last and took the team to 271 runs. After the match, Rohit Sharma lashed out at the bowlers. He said that the bowlers had started well, but they looted a lot of runs in the middle and in the end.

After the match, Rohit said, ‘It (thumb injury) is not good at all. There is definitely some injury in him, but the good thing is that there is no fracture. This was the reason that I could bat. When you lose the match, there are both positive and negative things. Allowing them (Bangladesh) to score 270 from 69/6 shows the shortcomings of our bowlers. We had a good start, but there was a bit of disappointment in the middle overs and at the end. Something similar happened in the last match as well. We need to work on this.

Rohit further said, ‘Mehidy Hasan and Mahmudullah made a great partnership, but a way to break such a partnership will also have to be found. When you build a partnership in ODI cricket, convert it into a match winning partnership. He did the same. There is a need to show courage in the middle order as well. There is definitely tension regarding some injuries and we need to investigate it deeply.

Captain Rohit said, ‘Injuries need to be monitored. When he plays for India, more than 100 per cent is expected from him. There is also a need to pay attention to his workload management, because we cannot let him play half-fit for the country.
