After which the court has punished two people with life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 each. At the same time, four people have been acquitted due to lack of evidence against them.
Murder was due to electoral rivalry
Regarding the case, the District Prosecution Officer said that on March 31, 2018, the complainant Tribhuvan Dwivedi went to the Semaria police station and lodged a report that Sudeep Tiwari and Virendra Shukla of the village had killed him due to election enmity.
Found guilty during trial
At the same time, the Semaria police registered an offense under section 302, 34 of the IPC in the case. Police prepared challan number 141/18 on July 18, 2018 and presented case number 312/18 in the court on July 24, 2018. After which the eighth Additional Sessions Judge in the case found two accused guilty during the trial and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
