Apart from this, rice will also be given as a gift to all ration card holders. Also, this will be applicable to the family living in Sri Lanka resettlement camp. They will be provided 1 kg rice and 1 kg sugar.

The first proposal under the scheme of the state government is considering giving 1 kg sugar and 1 kg salt every month to Antyodaya card holders. 180000 card holders will get its benefit due to which there will be less possibility of financial burden on the government. At the same time, this scheme can be implemented in the new year.
According to Fertilizer Minister Rekha Arya, the officials have been instructed to prepare a proposal for the Sugar Salt Scheme. Fortified rice will start being available from ration shops from April. At the same time, sugar and salt will also be made available to the poor at subsidized rates. Due to which they will get relief.
