what is the whole matter
In fact, during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had given a controversial statement during his election speech in Kolar. Under this statement, he had made a controversial comment regarding the Modi surname. Regarding this comment, different complaints and objections were lodged in many states of the country. One of these petitions was also filed in the Surat court.
While hearing this petition, the sessions court of Surat, while giving an important verdict on March 23, convicted Rahul Gandhi and sentenced him to two years. The special thing is that only a day after this order of the court, Rahul Gandhi had to lose his MP as well, that is, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha had decided to cancel his MP as well due to the sentence of two years.
