IPS Promotion and Transfer 2022: Once again, transfers have been done in the state along with promotion of officers, they have been assigned new postings. for which the order has been issued. Under the issued order, 21 IPS officers will be given the benefit of promotion as on January 1, 2023. However, he has to assume the new post as soon as possible.
Promotion of 1998 batch IPS officer to ADGP rank
As per the order issued, the 1998 batch IPS officer of Kerala has been promoted to the rank of ADGP. The officers who have been promoted to the rank of ADGP. They include Thummala Vikram, Dinendra Kashyap (Proforma Promotion), Gopesh Agarwal, H Venkatesh, Ashok Yadav (Proforma Promotion).
2005 batch IPS officers promoted to IG rank
Apart from this, IPS officers of 2005 batch have been promoted to the rank of IG. These include Neeraj Kumar Gupta and A. Akbar.
2009 batch IPS officer promoted to DIG rank
Also, a 2009 batch IPS officer has been promoted to the rank of DIG. The officers who have been promoted include Thomson Jose (Proforma Promotion), Dr. A Srinivas, Manjunath H (Proforma Promotion).
Promotion of Officers of 2019 Batch to Senior Time Scale
Apart from this, the IPS officer of 2019 batch has been promoted to Senior Time Scale. These include Nidhi Raj P, besides Anuj Paliwal.

- Gopesh Agarwal of IPS 1998 has been appointed as the director of the Kerala Police Academy.
- Dr A Srinivas has been posted as DIGP, Ernakulam Range.
- Harshita Attaluri, IGP, Crime, Thiruvananthapuram is transferred and posted as IGP, Vigilance (HQ).
- IPS 2019 Sabu Mathew KM, SP (Technical Intelligence), State Special Branch is transferred and posted as SP, Crime Branch, Ernakulam.
- P Prakash IGP, South Zone has been transferred and posted as IGP, Intelligence.
- Neeraj Kumar Gupta has been posted as Inspector General of Police, Northern Zone.
