
Gwalior Crime News: The police have arrested 11 businessmen gambling in Gwalior’s biggest and oldest “Jivaji Club”. Police seized more than 3 lakh cash from their possession.
Jhansi Road Police Station TI Sanjeev Nayan Sharma said that the police had received information that some people were gambling in Jivaji Club. After the information of the informer, the police of Crime Branch and Jhansi Road Police Station jointly raided the Jivaji Club.
He said that when the police reached room number 4, they found 11 people gambling there, the police caught them and when they searched, they found three lakh thirty fifteen thousand rupees and decks of cards. Police said that the arrested gamblers are city traders. A case has been registered against them under the Gambling Act. The names of the arrested traders have been mentioned as Dhruv, Hemant, Dilip, Sunil, Brajesh, Gajendra, Balwant, Paan Singh, Awadhesh, Manoj and Rakesh.
