MP Farmers News: There is good news for the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. The procurement of paddy on the support price has started from Monday, November 28, which will continue till January 16. The government has estimated to procure 46 lakh tonnes of paddy and it will be procured from registered farmers at the rate of Rs 2 thousand 40 per quintal. To avoid any kind of disturbance in this, the identification of the farmer will be done through biometrics. Payment of paddy will also be in Aadhaar linked account
Paddy procurement (MP Paddy Procurement 2022-23) will also be done at the godown level apart from the primary agricultural credit cooperatives. This time a system has been made that the godowns should be verified thrice so that it can be known whether paddy has not been kept before. This time 8 lakh farmers have registered on the e-procurement portal. Collectors have been instructed to keep an eye on the border districts. If any discrepancy is reported anywhere, immediate action should be taken.
Will get this special facility
The special thing is that the farmers have been given the facility that whenever they want to bring the produce for sale, they can fix the date. Farmers have also been given the right to identify procurement centers, that is, this time farmers can choose procurement centers according to their choice and convenience. Farmers can sell their paddy at any procurement center where they want to sell their paddy. Till now farmers were allowed to sell their paddy at the same center which used to come in their area, but from this time the farmers can sell their paddy at their own procurement centers. But can sell paddy and millet.
Payment will be like this
Farmers will be paid the amount of their crop in Aadhaar linked bank account. Whenever the farmer brings the produce for sale, it will be verified. For this point of sales machines are available at all the centres, in which the complete details of the farmer will appear on putting the thumb impression. Now the purchase of old and disabled farmers can also be done through nominee, whereas biometric device will be mandatorily installed at every procurement center, where farmers will be verified through OTP or biometric device only.
