In fact, according to the announcement of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in the Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana, after bus and rail travel, the elderly will also be taken to travel to remote pilgrimage sites by air. Under this, Pahwai pilgrimage tours will start in the new year.
Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojana has been restarted from April, 2022 with the pilgrimage to Kashi Vishwanath. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to start Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana has been implemented by various states of the country.
In the year 2012, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan started pilgrimage for senior citizens. Hindu Muslim Sikh Christian pilgrimage sites of all religions have been included in the Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana.
