IPL has made hundreds of players millionaires. Now the name of Mukesh Kumar of Gopalganj, Bihar has been added to this list. In the auction of the 16th season of IPL, Delhi Capitals bought Mukesh Kumar for 5.50 lakhs. Mukesh got 27 times more than his base price. Mukesh’s father is no longer in this world but he must be feeling proud of his son’s success even from heaven.
Mukesh is a resident of Gopalganj in Bihar. It was not so easy for Mukesh to travel till the Indian team and IPL. Mukesh’s father went to Kolkata to drive an auto due to poverty. Mukesh used to play cricket while staying in Gopalganj. He also joined Bihar’s Under-19 team on the basis of his brilliant performance. But later he went to Kolkata to help his father. Mukesh continued to play his cricket there as well. Mukesh had tried thrice to join the army and failed all the three times. Now he will be seen spreading his fire in IPL.

Mukesh used to play a match with 500 rupees
Mukesh started playing for private clubs in Kolkata. During this, he used to get 500 rupees for a match. He took part in the trials of Bengal Cricket Association in the year 2014. Coach Ranadeb Bose saw his ability and then he also got a room to stay in Eden Gardens. Mukesh made his debut for Bengal cricket in the year 2015.
