According to the Meteorological Department (MP Weather Update), currently no weather system is active, due to the northern winds, the temperature is falling in many areas across the state and cold is being felt. Now from December 5, a good cold is expected with a rapid fall in the temperature. Due to the lack of strong winds coming from the Himalayas, their effect is up to Bhopal along with Gwalior-Chambal, but there is not much drop in temperature in its surrounding areas including Indore.

A new Western Disturbance is coming on November 29, due to which the wind direction will become western. It can reach below 10 degree Celsius in most areas including Bhopal-Indore. Due to the cold wind in Gwalior, the day temperature will be 27 degree Celsius and till November 28, the day temperature will be around 27 degree Celsius. After November 29, the maximum temperature will fall. , In the first week of December itself, the strong effect of winter will be visible due to the effect of north east wind.

According to the Meteorological Department (MP Weather Update), at present a Western Disturbance is present in Pakistan and its adjoining Himalayan region, due to which snowfall is taking place in Jammu and Kashmir and north wind is coming towards the state. After November 29, there will be a drop in the temperature. Due to the effect of a Western Disturbance formed near Afghanistan, there may be snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and its surrounding mountains from Sunday and the minimum is likely to start falling from Monday-Tuesday.
