The MP Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain with thunder and lightning in all the divisions on Wednesday, 31 August 2022. In the same 5 districts, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain warning, while in 20 districts a warning of lightning has been issued.

The same in Harda, Ratlam, Ujjain and Dewas along with Jabalpur and Indore divisions. lightning and flashing warning has been issued.

According to the MP Meteorological Department, at present the Monsoon Trough has reached the Himalayas, but a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Tamil Nadu. From this cyclone to the central part of Madhya Pradesh through Vidarbha, a trough line has remained. A Western Disturbance is also persisting as a trough over Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Due to these weather systems, the humidity in the atmosphere is increasing and there is a possibility of rain in the districts of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Narmadapuram divisions on Wednesday.

According to the MP Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in the districts of Indore, Shahdol, Rewa, Jabalpur, Sagar, Narmadapuram and Bhopal divisions in the state on Wednesday. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the districts of Rajgarh, Sehore, Shajapur, Dewas and Bhopal divisions and Sheopurkala, Betul, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Sagar, Shajapur, Damoh, Dewas, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Seoni, Katni, Narmadapuram districts. . In the districts of Indore, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, Gwalior divisions, the process of rain may continue on Wednesday-Thursday.

Let us tell that till now the state should have received about 12 and a half inches of rain in general, while 17 inches of rain has fallen. This is more than 4 inches above normal. Madhya Pradesh should have received about 31 inches of rain from June 1 to August 31, but 38 inches of water has fallen. It has rained 23% more than normal i.e. 7 inches more water. Right now there is no system in place. Two to three systems are expected to form in September.
