
MP news: Madhya Pradesh government is going to set up research centers in government AYUSH colleges of the state, Departmental Minister Ram Kishore Kavre gave instructions to this effect in a meeting with officials in the ministry, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25 Instructions were also given to set up mega AYUSH health camps in all the districts of the state.
On December 25, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on Good Governance Day, the Department of AYUSH will organize mega AYUSH health camps in all 52 districts of the state. In this, free medicines will be distributed after treating patients with Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani methods. Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Ram Kishore Kavre gave instructions to the departmental officers regarding setting up the camp. The minister also reviewed the progress in departmental schemes. Principal Secretary Ayush Prateek Hajela was also present in the meeting.
Research centers will open in Government AYUSH colleges
Minister of State Mr. Kavre also gave instructions to start research centers in all government AYUSH colleges of the state soon. He said that all necessary facilities will be made available for the research centers by the state government. Minister of State Shri Kavre asked the departmental officers to collect information about experienced Vaidyas in each district. Their conference will be organized in the coming month of January. Progress was also reviewed in the Devaranya Yojana being run in the state. Minister of State Mr. Kavre also gave instructions to the departmental officers to mark land for setting up five huge drug parks in the state. He said that more and more varieties of medicinal plants would be planted in these parks.
Instructions for surprise inspection of AYUSH institutions
Minister of State for AYUSH Mr. Kavre instructed the divisional officers to conduct surprise inspections of the AYUSH centers operating in the division. It was told that 362 health wellness centers are being operated in the state. Action is being taken to start 200 new centers approved earlier. Apart from these, approval has been given by the Central Government to start 200 more health wellness centers in the state.
