Ashutosh Tiwari, Chairman, Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Board, conducted a virtual review of the progress of departmental works with the officers of the Board from Bhopal headquarters on Friday. The jubilee year should be celebrated as a memorial. He said that be it housing scheme, re-densification or Atal Aashray Yojana, all the works should be completed within the time limit. Due to non-completion of work on time, the credibility of the board is not only affected, but also the cost of materials also increases. Our priority should be to complete the work within the time limit.
Free the encroached land by campaigning
Housing Board commissioner Chandramouli Shukla said that all the deputy commissioners should mark the encroached land and launch a campaign to free the land from encroachment. Prepare a plan within 15 days on encroachment-free land and send it to the headquarters. Mr. Shukla said that under the ambitious Suraj Yojana of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, draft a housing scheme for the poor on encroachment-free land. He directed all the Deputy Commissioners to visit the project site once a week to review the work and send the inspection report to the headquarters.
Register presence of Mandal in each district
Commissioner Mr. Shukla said that all the divisional officers should contact the collectors in their subordinate districts to ensure land for the housing scheme. Mandal’s projects should be started in all the districts. Start some scheme for every district, whether it is residential, commercial or plot-based scheme, give it a concrete shape. He said that our basic work is residential and we should pay more attention to it.
Make big plans in the golden jubilee year
Shri Shukla asked all the officers to mark a big project for any district except re-densification in this golden jubilee year. Make plans of at least 200-200 crores. He said that the undeveloped land should be identified and plans should be sent on them soon. In the meeting, Chief Administrative Officer of the Division Mrs. Bidisha Mukhji, Additional Commissioner S.K. Mehar, Shailendra Verma and B.L. Solanki and other officers were also present.
