
Jabalpur News: The MP High Court has given a big verdict in the matter of illegal construction without permission in the buffer zone of Pench and Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh High Court, while giving its verdict on a PIL pending since 2014, has ordered investigation and action against three top officials of the state government. The High Court has ordered the state government to investigate against the then PCCF Bhopal, former CEO of MP Eco Tourism Board Vinay Barman and the then Principal Secretary of Forest Department AP Srivastava Do it and also take legal action if found guilty.
The Division Bench of High Court Chief Justice Ravi Malimath and Vishal Mishra has made it clear in its decision that if the investigation of the three top officials is not done, then the petitioners can again file a petition in the High Court, along with the High Court has directed the state government It has also been ordered to strictly follow the recommendations of NTCA i.e. National Tiger Conservation Authority to prevent tiger deaths and hunting in Tiger Reserves.
This petition was filed in the High Court by Bhopal’s environmentalist Ajay Dubey in the year 2014, in which it was said that in the buffer zone of Pench and Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, the authorities have made illegal constructions without permission, which has led to incidents of hunting of wild animals including tigers. increased.
After the decision of the High Court today, petitioner Ajay Dubey said that this decision will prove to be a milestone in stopping the arbitrariness of the officials in the Tiger Reserve. Not only this, after this decision, not only will the wild animals be more safe, but there will be fear among the officials about negligence.
