Marathon race organized under Mandsaur pride day, CM Shivraj will participate in the main program

Mandsaur News: Pride Day is going to be organized in Mandsaur on 8th December. One or the other event is already being organized in the city regarding the programme. Mandsaur Pride Day is being celebrated as a festival. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also reach here to participate in the main programme.

In a series of different events, a marathon race was organized here today. Starting from the city’s archaeological site Sondhani, a 7 kilometer long marathon race was organized till the Maharana Pratap expression site. A large number of city dwellers took part in this race.

Yashpal Singh, MLA from Sondhani, Municipality President Ramadevi Gurjar flagged off the race at 9 am. A large number of youth, children and elders of the city participated in the run along with public representatives and officials. The administration also distributed T-shirts to all the participants of the run. After this, on the completion of the marathon, citation was also distributed at Maharana Pratap bus stand. Collector, SP, Municipal Vice President, Councilor, all officers, employees and common citizens of the district were present during this event of marathon race.

One or the other program is being organized continuously in the city under Mandsaur Pride Day. Earlier, Aao Nritya Karo program was organized in the municipal hall. During the programme, the talented students of the district gave excellent dance performances on the stage.

As many as 18 participants and groups applied to the Sangeet Mahavidyalaya to participate in the event. Out of which 10 were selected. There were eight solo performances and two group dance performances. The show was judged by Sonali Sharma, Ishita Dave and Vartika Parekh. Municipality President Ramadevi Gurjar was present during the program and she expressed her gratitude to the guests along with best wishes to the participants. Let us tell you that under the Mandsaur Gaurav Divas festival, preparations are going on in full swing in the city.
