Major action of Burhanpur police in forest outpost robbery, 652 cartridges including 17 guns seized




Burhanpur News: The Burhanpur police has achieved great success in the forest outpost loot case that happened last days in Bakdi of Nepanagar forest area of ​​Burhanpur district. Under the direction of SP Rahul Kumar Lodha, the Nepanagar police seized the weapons looted by unknown accused from Van Chowki Bakdi on Monday night.

On the night of November 28, 15-20 unknown persons assaulted Bhola Barela, the security guard of the outpost, and looted 17 guns and cartridges kept in the armory cupboard of the outpost. On the complaint of security guard Bhola Barela, crime number 832/22 section 395,397 of Bhadvi was registered against unknown accused at police station Nepanagar.

Separate teams were formed by the Superintendent of Police, Burhanpur, to recover the accused and looted goods. Joint teams of police and forest raided villages Bakri, Jampati and encroachers involved in forest felling. After which, during the search operation this morning, the police found the looted weapons near the pond located near village Bakdi, leaving the accused behind. Among the weapons recovered from the spot, 16 pieces of 12 bore gun, 1 piece of Bharmar gun total 17 guns, 652 pieces of cartridges of 12 bore gun and 82 pieces of spent cartridges were found which were seized by the police. The total value of the seized mashruka is about 4 lakh 45 thousand. The accused are being searched by the police.
