During this, the young man and the woman snatched 15 thousand cash and gold chain from them by holding a knife. The complainant informed the Chimanganj police station about the robbery that happened to her, but the surprising thing is that instead of registering the report, the police kept on investigating for four to five hours to find out the reality of the incident. After this the report could be lodged.
While registering the complaint, the complainant said that a young man stopped him near the insurance hospital and took him to the empty quarter of the hospital at knifepoint. A girl also reached there and both started fighting with her and ran away with gold chain and ring. After the complaint, the police have registered a case against the unknown youth and the girl under other sections including extortion and assault. At the same time, the police also say that the person was not taken at knifepoint, but he himself accompanied the woman to the empty quarters of the insurance hospital. The police have said that this has been confirmed by eyewitnesses. It is being said to investigate the matter.
