
National Equestrian Championship : Junior National Equestrian Championship 2022 is going to be organized in Bhopal. The championship, which begins on December 12, will continue till December 25 and will see the best riders of the country competing here. While tweeting about this event, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has described it as another achievement for the state.
The CM has written that ‘National Junior Equestrian Competition is going to be organized at Bhopal’s Equestrian Academy from December 12 to 25, in which amazing competitions will be seen between more than 250 horse riders from 16 states. This event is another important achievement for our Madhya Pradesh emerging as a sports hub. Preparations for this championship are going on in full swing and arrangements are being made for help desk, medical facility, fire brigade, security arrangements as well as cleanliness of the academy. There will be 2 jury members from UK from Equestrian Federation of India to judge the competition.
This big achievement in the account of Madhya Pradesh is also because it will be the first state which will have its own horse riding cross country course after the construction of the track. Earlier, this system was only with the army. In this context also, this championship is going to be important. Cross country, dressage, tent pegging, show jumping events will be the center of attraction in these 14 days. Equestrian competition is all about speed, but cross country has set minimum and maximum times. During this, there are rules regarding the safety of the horse along with the rider. It is expected that many exciting matches will be seen in this championship and after this event, the trend of the youth of the state will increase in this direction.
