In the case of raping a woman constable, the police has even declared a reward for catching TI Sandeep Ayachi, in this case, High Court Justice Sanjay Dwivedi refused to give the benefit of anticipatory bail considering the crime of serious nature. Opposing the anticipatory bail petition, it was said on behalf of the government that a reward of Rs 5 thousand has been announced for the arrest of the accused TI. In the past also the accused has threatened his position to the victim. After hearing the single bench, the anticipatory bail application was rejected.

This case came into the limelight in the entire state, when the female constable accused TI Sandeep Ayachi posted in Katni of rape, however after that the victim accused TI Sandeep in this case in mental trouble, calling her father. But a few months after that, suddenly on August 3, 2022, a rape report was filed in the women’s police station, Jabalpur. The lady constable wrote in the FIR that in the year 2018, he was posted at Gorakhpur police station in Jabalpur. In the same police station, Sandeep Ayachi was posted as TI. During this, a friendly bond was formed between the two. After this Sandeep Achai was transferred to Panagar police station in Jabalpur. His duty was also posted at Panagar police station. During this TI took her to a hotel room and raped her on the pretext of marriage. After this, by taking him to other places including Pachpadhi, Pench, he was sexually exploited on the pretext of marriage and was also formally married to Prayagraj. In the anticipatory bail petition, it was said that physical relations were established between the two with mutual consent. The complainant was an adult and consensual relationship does not constitute the offense of rape.
