Jabalpur News : Vishwanath Sahu, a farmer living in the Belkheda police station area of the district, was attacked and killed by his second wife’s son with an iron rod, the reason for the murder is said to be a money dispute, the police have arrested the accused.
Belkheda police station in-charge Sukhdev Dhurve told that the deceased Vishwanath Sahu, who lived in the garden, used to do farming. He had married twice. The name of the first wife is Sunta Bai, while the name of the second wife is Rajkumari, who was posted as a peon in the Electricity Department and retired a few months ago, now she gets pension.
This morning, Vishwanath was taking a bath in the bathroom, then Jitendra Rai, the son of his second wife, came and argued with his mother and asked for money, to which the mother refused. After listening to his mother, Jitendra started saying that when you give money to your husband, then give it to me too.
After listening to Jitendra’s talk, his mother started working, Jitendra picked up the iron pipe kept at home and went to Vishwanath who was taking a bath in the bathroom and hit him on the head, after which he fell in the bathroom itself. By the time Vishwanath’s wife reached him after hearing the voice, he had already died, the same accused Jitendra had fled and the police managed to catch him by laying siege.
