UP IPS Transfer 2022: The phase of transfers is going on in the state. IAS-IPS officers are being transferred continuously. Meanwhile, once again, wholesale transfers of IPS officers have been done. Orders for this have also been issued by the state government late last night. New postings have been assigned to 16 IPS officers late on Monday night.

Along with the posting of Police Commissioner in Agra, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj, new officers have also been posted in 3 ranges and 3 districts. IG Ghaziabad Ajay Mishra and IG Gautam Budh Nagar Laxmi Singh have been appointed as Police Commissioners.
In Agra, IG Preetinder Singh has been given a new posting. IPS Ashok Mutha Jain has been appointed as the Commissioner of Police, Banaras. Rohit Sharma, Inspector General of Police, Bareilly, has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj, against his new posting. Secretary Home, Tarun Gaba, Inspector General of Police has been sent to Lucknow.
