
Indore News: Information has come to the fore about Mumbai Police raiding the Divine Jeweler of Sarafa in Indore. The police arrested the operator along with seizing one and a half kilos of gold from the showroom. Earlier one person has been arrested and search is on for another, who is absconding in connection with gold scam worth crores of rupees.
Giving information, the Sarafa Police Station said that this action has been taken by the Lokmanya Tilak Nagar Police Station of Mumbai. The Mumbai Police team had reached here taking one of the accused along with them. The team raided the Divine Jeweler located in Sarafa and arrested the director Rajesh Soni. After searching the showroom, one and a half kg gold jewelery has also been recovered from here. A businessman from Mumbai had lodged a case against the jeweler for misappropriation of 2.5 kg gold 5 months ago. This action has been taken in the same case.
According to the information, the accused had asked to pay through RTGS in 8 days after buying gold from a Mumbai businessman. On not getting the money, the businessman filed a complaint in the police station and presented all the documents. After this, the police registered a case and arrested Dilip Soni and after reaching Indore, caught Rajesh Soni as well. Another accused Chandan is being searched but he is absconding. According to the information given by the police, cases of cheating are registered on Chandan in many states. He is also being searched in the case of misappropriation of gold worth crores of rupees.
