India vs Sri Lanka T20 Series: The three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka is starting from 3 January. This T20 series will be played under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. The first match of the series is to be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The performance of the Indian team on this ground has not been anything special. This team India has played four matches, out of which two have won and two have faced defeat.
Team India played its first match at Wankhede Stadium in the year 2012 against England. In this match, India scored 177 runs while batting first. In response, England won the match by 6 wickets by hitting a six off the last ball.

After losing two matches on this ground, Team India made a great comeback. Team India played against Sri Lanka in the year 2017. The Sri Lankan team was reduced to just 135 runs while batting first. In response, the Indian team easily won the match in the last over.

In response, West Indies could score only 173 runs and Team India won the match by 67 runs.
