Team India has captured the series by winning the last and decisive match of the three-match T20 series played between India and Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 91 runs. For Team India, Suryakumar Yadav has given hearty happiness by playing a big innings. Team India first batted well and then bowled brilliantly to win the series. Batting first, Team India scored a huge score of 228 runs losing 5 wickets. In reply, Sri Lanka got bundled out for 137 runs in 16.4 overs.

Sri Lanka’s batting took off

Pathum Nissanka and Kushal Mendis came to open the batting from the Sri Lankan team. Pathum Nissanka made his way to the pavilion after playing an innings of 15 runs. While the second opener Kushal Mendis contributed 23 runs. Avishka Fernando, who came to bat at number three, fell victim to Hardik Pandya as soon as he opened the account. Dhananjaya de Silva, who came to bat at number four, contributed 22 runs. Parith Aslanka, who came to bat at number five, played an innings of 19 runs. Captain Dasun Shanaka, who came to bat at number 6, contributed 23 runs. Apart from this, none of the Sri Lankan batsmen could cross the score of 10 runs. This is the reason why the Sri Lankan team was bundled out for 137 runs in 16.4 overs in the decisive match.

Talk about the bowling of Team India, captain Hardik Pandya took two wickets in his four overs bowling after spending 30 runs. Arshdeep Singh took three wickets after spending 20 runs in 2.4 overs. Umran Malik took two wickets after spending 31 runs in three overs. Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets after spending 30 runs in three overs. Akshar Patel took one wicket after spending 19 runs in three overs. Shivam Mavi spent 6 runs bowling one over.

Team India’s batting like this

Talking about Team India’s batting, Suryakumar Yadav played the highest century innings of 112 not out. During this, seven fours and nine sixes were seen from his bat. Opener Shubman Gill played an inning of 46 runs in 36 balls. Rahul Tripathi scored a quick 35 off 16 balls. During this, five fours and two sixes came out of his bat. Due to Akshar Patel’s blistering 21 runs, Team India was able to score a huge score of 228 runs.
