India vs Bangladesh Series 2022: India has won the second Test by defeating Bangladesh by 3 wickets. At one time it seemed that this match would slip out of India’s hands, but the partnership of Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin saved Team India’s shame and won the series. India has named this series 2-0. India managed to maintain its winning record in Tests against Bangladesh. KL Rahul, who captained the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma, expressed his reaction after winning the series. Describing the condition of the dressing room, he said that there was a lot of tension there.

Talking after the match, KL Rahul said, ‘You trust the middle players. We have played enough cricket to realize that somebody is going to put forth their hand to win us matches. But I won’t lie, there was a lot of tension in the dressing room. It was a difficult wicket to bat on, they put us under pressure in both innings. It was somewhat of a new ball surface, once the ball became soft it was easy to score runs.
He further said, ‘It was a matter of who plays the new ball better. We lost a few more wickets chasing the target but we got the job done. For the last few years till now the bowling attack has been a case in point. Wherever we have gone abroad in the last few years, we have completed the work.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Bangladesh team was reduced to 277 runs. In response, the Indian team had scored 314 runs in their first innings. Bangladesh has given India a target of 145 runs to win in the second innings. Team India won the match by 3 wickets after losing 7 wickets.
