India vs Bangladesh Test Series: After the ODI series, Team India will now play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, but before this series, Team India has suffered a big setback. Team India captain Rohit Sharma is out of the first test. Abhimanyu Easwaran has been included in the team in place of Rohit. Abhimanyu Easwaran, 27, is the captain of India-A. He has performed well for India-A on the tour of Bangladesh, due to which he has been included in the team in place of Rohit Sharma. Let us tell you that Abhimanyu was kept in standby for the final of last year’s World Test Championship and the Test series against England, but he did not get a chance to debut.

Abhimanyu Easwaran plays for Bengal
Abhimanyu Easwaran was born in Uttarakhand, but he plays for the Bengal team in domestic cricket. He made his debut in Bengal cricket in the year 2013. Apart from this, Abhimanyu has played for India Under-19, India Blue, India-A, India-B, Rest of India Board President’s XI. Abhimanyu Easwaran plays the role of a good all-rounder in the team, as he is a great batsman as well as a leg-break spinner.
Abhimanyu Easwaran’s cricket career
Abhimanyu Easwaran has scored 5419 runs in first class cricket in 77 matches at an average of 44.41. While in List-A, he has scored 3376 runs in 78 matches at an average of 46.24. Apart from this, he has scored 728 runs in 27 matches in T20 cricket.
Abhimanyu had played a brilliant inning of 141 runs in the very first match for India-A on Bangladesh tour. After this, he had hit 157 runs in the second match. Earlier, he had scored 122 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has scored three consecutive centuries. This is the reason why he has been included in Team India instead of Rohit.
