In fact, according to the order of the High Court, now the employees will be given benefits according to the sixth grade (6th grade pay). This benefit will be provided to them from 2006 onwards. After hearing the matter, while setting aside the special appeal of the government, the division bench upheld the order of the single bench. The same has been ordered to the government that the benefit of sixth grade pay should be made available to class IV employees from January 1, 2006.
The matter was heard before a division bench of Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and RC Khulbe. On which the government had filed a special appeal challenging the order of the single bench in the High Court. Earlier in 2019, the petition was filed by the Class IV Employees Union. In which it was said that the benefit of sixth grade pay is being given to them by the government since 2011. In the same petition, it was also said that there is four grade pay of class IV employee. Which was merged by the government in 2008 and made it eighteen hundred rupees. The same has been implemented for class IV employees from March 24, 2011. Which was challenged in the court by the employees.

While hearing the petitions, a single bench of the High Court had ordered to give this benefit to the employees from January 1, 2006. On which a special appeal was filed by the State Government in the Bench. However, now the order of the single bench has also been upheld by the division bench. 1000 employees will get the benefit of this. A large number of employees have retired. He will also be given arrears in this case from 2006. At the same time, there will be a massive increase in the salary of the employees.
5 years arrears will be made available to them. Along with this, the benefits of new grade pay will be available to them. Where the benefit of arrears will be given to the retired employees. At the same time, in this case, the President of the Employees’ Union, Diwan Singh Negi, says that orders have been issued in the High Court to give the benefit of grade pay scale since 2006. In such a situation, the employees will get big benefits and the decision has come in favor of the employees and the review petition of the state government was dismissed. The employees are quite satisfied.
