The Health Minister further told the Lok Sabha that since AIIMS Madurai was a project funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and their representative could not visit India during the last two years due to the pandemic, the cost of the project was Rs 1900 crore. was increased.
The DMK MPs alleged that the minister was threatening them, to which Speaker Om Birla said the minister had not indicated anyone in particular and was making general observations.
