
6th-7th Pay Commission Employees Holiday: A big announcement has been made for the state government employees. Actually holidays have been announced in the office. Along with this, they will be given the benefit of optional leave including normal. Orders have been issued for this on Tuesday. They will get the benefit of 24 restricted holidays including 28 general ones in the whole year.

- The Government of Telangana is notified that during the year 2023 the days specified in Annexure-I shall be observed as general holidays by all State Government offices including the days of occasions/festivals which fall on Sundays and the State Government Also notify alternate holidays for the offices. As indicated in Annexure-II including the days of occasions/festivals falling on Sundays.
- The State Government directs that all offices under the State Government shall remain closed on all Sundays and second Saturdays in all months during the year 2023.
- State Government employees may avail optional holidays during the year 2023 on the festivals/occasions specified in Annexure-II of this Order, in addition to the normal holidays mentioned in Annexure-I, at their option and irrespective of the period beyond the year 2023. - If there is any change of date in respect of Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Muharram and Eid-e-Milad due to moon sighting or any other holiday declared now, the same will be announced through electronic/print media. Will. All the departments of the Secretariat, Heads of Departments and District Collectors will act according to such announcement and without waiting for a formal order to change the date.
