In which, as soon as possible, information has been demanded about the salary and allowances received by the semi-skilled, skilled temporary employees in the status of 2016 and in the current month of October.

Under the order of the Supreme Court, temporary employees working in the Public Works Department will now be given the benefit of the minimum pay scale of the seventh pay scale and other allowances. Action has been started for this. A letter has been written by the Chief Engineer’s Office Superintendent Engineer to the Executive Engineers. Instructions have been given to make available the status of semi-skilled, skilled and unskilled employees for the year 2016 and demand for salary and allowances to be received in the month of October 2022 at the earliest.

According to the information, the order was issued by the Supreme Court on 15 December 2016 in the case of Ram Naresh Rawat vs Ashwani Rai, Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department. In which it was said that from December 2016, the minimum pay scale of the seventh pay scale should be given to the temporary employees. Following the order of the Supreme Court, in Madhya Pradesh, on August 2, approval was granted to temporary employees to be given the minimum pay scale under the seventh pay scale. Now after the Public Health Engineering Department, the temporary employees of the Public Works Department will be paid the minimum wage of the seventh pay scale. Action has been started by the government for this. Apart from this, the minimum pay of the seventh pay scale will be paid along with arrears of 6 years.
Its benefit to 9000 permanent employees
Its benefit is to be given to 9000 permanent employees of the Public Works Department. A letter has been written to CM Shivraj in this matter by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Forum. Along with this, a demand has been made that the temporary employees working in all the departments of Madhya Pradesh should be given the benefit of allowances along with the minimum salary of the seventh pay scale. For this, an order should be issued by the government as soon as possible.
Employees Forum demanded
In 50 departments of the state, the process of giving the minimum salary of the seventh pay scale to the permanent employees could not be completed. Due to which there is an atmosphere of dissatisfaction among 40000 employees. The Employees Forum has said in its letter to the CM that the order of the Supreme Court is applicable to the employees of all departments. Therefore, orders to give them the benefit of minimum pay of seventh pay scale from 2016 should be issued at the earliest.
