Shimla, Desk Report. There is good news for thousands of pensioners. Actually pensioners will get the benefit of revised pension at the age of 65, 70 and 75 years. In fact, an increase of 5, 10 and 15 percent has been fixed in their pension. The Chief Minister made a big announcement in this regard. Along with this, the Chief Minister said that the pension and family pension of pre-2016 pensioners will be given the benefit of revised pension on the basis of revised pay matrix of January 1, 2016. In such a situation, there will be a huge increase in their pension.
In fact, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has made a big announcement that in the pension of pre-2016 pensioners, family pension will be revised at the rate of 50% and 30% on the basis of revised pay matrix of January 1, 2016. Along with this, 5, 10 and 15 percent salary increase has been announced for the employees of 65, 70, 75 years of age. Although the pension was being provided on the old basic pay for that announcement made by the BJP government in 2012, but now it will be revised pay matrix.
In this case, the Finance Department can issue orders soon. Not only this, in the JCC meeting, the Chief Minister said that identity cards should be issued to pensioners and he has announced immediate release of Rs 25 crore for payment of medical reimbursement bills.
Chief Minister Thakur said that the family pension in the minimum pension has been increased from ₹ 3500 to ₹ 9000 per month with effect from January 1, 2016 while the maximum limit of gratuity has also been increased from 10 lakh to 20 lakh rupees. Along with this, interim relief has been given at the rate of 8 per cent in case of graduation from January 1, 2016 and 4 per cent as on January 1, 2018.

In his big announcement, the Chief Minister said that 24,6640 employees working in Public Sector Undertakings, 190000 pensioners would be paid their full on time. Also pension family pension and retirement benefits of pensioners will be revised from January 1, 2016.
A proposal has been submitted to find a permanent solution to the pension of HRTC pensioners. A permanent solution will be found after studying this proposal within 1 month and pensioners will be given pension amount in the first week of every month. Apart from this, cashless treatment facility will be started for the pensioners of the state for free treatment in Saraswati and private hospitals. For this, orders have been given to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of Secretary, Finance Department. The committee will submit its report in 30 days.
