Employee Transfer News: There is good news for the employees of Uttarakhand before the new year. The Pushkar Dhami government of the state has taken a big decision in the interest of single parent employees. Under this, now single parent (widow and widower) employees in the state will get relaxation in compulsory transfer for the transfer session 2022-23. This proposal has been approved by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.
The Personnel and Vigilance Department has released the minutes of the decisions taken in the meeting. According to the news of Amar Ujala, to take advantage of this, the widow and widower employees will have to choose any one of the five options. For this, the state government will give an opportunity to choose an option and on selecting one of these places, they will be transferred.

The same committee has also given relaxation in transfer to the chief administrative officers in the ministerial cadre, now the transfers of Group B employees will be done in the home district only. This decision will benefit the employees appointed from the deceased dependent quota, in the upcoming transfer season, instead of posting them directly in Durgam, they will be posted on any one option by giving them the option of 5 places. This demand was put forth by the representatives of the Federation of Ministerial Services Associations.

Apart from this, after getting a stay from the High Court, the committee has again sought a proposal under the provisions of the Transfers of Doctors Act under the Animal Husbandry Department. The committee has also asked to revise the transfer policy proposal of the Stamp and Registration Department. The government proposed to the committee to increase the limit of transfers from 15 percent to 30 percent.
